Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms form a contract between you (or the organisation you represent) and Oxalis.AI Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales ("Oxalis", "we", "us"). They apply whenever you access oxalis.ai, sign in to an Oxalis account, or use any of our intelligence products. By creating an account you confirm that you accept these terms and have authority to do so on behalf of any organisation you sign up under.
2. What we provide
Oxalis publishes intelligence products built on public financial-services registers. Specific features depend on your subscription tier.
3. Accounts
You must keep your sign-in credentials secret and tell us promptly if you suspect they have been compromised. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to defraud or harm others.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense or systematically redistribute our content outside your organisation;
- Scrape, bulk-export or otherwise extract data beyond the export limits of your subscription tier;
- Use our data to re-identify, profile or take adverse action against an individual in any way that breaches data-protection law (for example, automated decision-making about a candidate without a lawful basis);
- Use the service to spam, harass or stalk anyone listed on a register;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, probe for vulnerabilities without our prior written consent, or interfere with other users.
Reasonable security research is welcome — please disclose findings to security@oxalis.ai.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Either party may cancel with one month's notice. On cancellation, at your option we will either let your subscription run to the end of the current billing month, or refund the current month and cancel immediately.
6. Data and accuracy
Our register data is sourced from public regulatory authorities. The source registers themselves can lag real-world changes and occasionally contain errors. We don't guarantee that the data is complete, current or error-free, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for a hiring, investment or compliance decision.
7. Intellectual property
The underlying register entries are public records and we claim no ownership of those facts. Our outputs and software are our intellectual property. Your subscription is a non-exclusive, non-transferable, internal-use licence within the limits of your tier.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice. Data subjects whose information appears in our outputs can submit requests by emailing privacy@oxalis.ai.
9. Confidentiality
If we share non-public information with you (for example, beta features or roadmap detail), please treat it as confidential and don't disclose it outside your organisation without our written consent.
10. Service availability
The service is provided "as is". We do not offer a contractual uptime SLA.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.
12. Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (data, IP, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
